Learning the icy fun way at Eureka exhibition on climate change

CHILDREN are learning about climate change in a special exhibition.
The new interactive exhibit at Eureka helps youngsters learn how to help save the polar bear by making simple changes to their lifestyles.
The exhibition, titled Positive Steps, comes after a joint exercisewith the University of Leeds's science and tourism project.
It will feature permanently at the Global Garden gallery and is aimed at children from five to 11.
The exhibit introduces Nanuq, a polar bear from the Arctic, who suffers the effects of global warming.
Tudor Gwynn, project director for Eureka, said: "It shows how small things, such as walking to school can make a difference.
"We hope this exhibit will build on our commitment to environmental sustainability in a fun and exciting way."
