The Courier Facebook page has passed the 150-friend mark.
The Courier profile was created on the popular social networking site earlier this year.

Since then our friends list has steadily grown to include readers living in Halifax, ex-pats living abroad and local businesses such as Bar 11, Maine Street and the Community Foundation for Calderdale.

Last week we received our 100th friend request and ran a story about it on our website, inviting more people to join us.

As a result, we are now well on our way to 200 friends and the list is growing daily.

If you're a Facebook member, become a friend of the Courier to gain full access to our page, where you can meet fellow readers and stay up to date with the latest stories in the paper and on our website.

Click here to visit our page and click on 'Add as Friend'
