A woman passenger on a boat in the Florida Keys was killed by a stingray that flew out of the water and hit her.
Judy Zagorski, 57, of Pigeon, Michigan, was on a boat on the Atlantic Ocean side of Vaca Key, when the 75lb eagle ray, with a wingspan of five or six feet, leapt out of the water, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.

The victim is reported to have fallen backwards, hit her head and died before help could arrive.
