Cold weather: 'Three strikes and we won't grit your street' warning over parked cars on Calderdale street
and live on Freeview channel 276
Signs have gone up on Fore Lane Avenue in Sowerby letting people know of a ‘three strikes’ rule, amidst plunging temperatures.
The council notices say gritters have tried to go down the street but have had difficulty getting onto and out of the road because of parked vehicles.
They say they need a clear width of 3.5m to get through.
