Firemen just get younger and younger!

A VISIT aboard a fire engine was one of a host of activities at a child safety day.
The event – organised by health visitor Nicky Darby, based at Keighley Road Health Centre Illingworth, Halifax – was aimed at keeping youngsters safe.
Hosted by Illingworth Fire Station, it included a free raffle with the chance to win first-aid kits. Health visitors and nursery nurses were also there to give advice.
Ruth Finlay, a health visitor who helped organise the day as part of Child Safety Awareness Week, said: "It went really well, we must have had about 70 people here."
