I have just received my Sita recycling box (which will not be used).

It contains a note from Recycle for Calderdale that does not mention that householders still have the option of recycling with Kerbside.

Far from being honest and encouraging healthy competition - a position that ought to be second nature to a Conservative-led council - Calderdale wants to mislead us all and give Sita a monopoly.

The moral bankruptcy of Calderdale Council is now complete.

We had Kerbside around last Friday in Sowerby and all of my road had their boxes out in support. We are due the SITA collection this Friday, and I doubt there will be many boxes put out around here!

Do you honestly think that Kerbside can compete against such a large conglomerate? within 6 months Kerbside will unfortunately have gone to the wall.

I will be putting my Kerbsite out one week and Sita out the next..plenty to go around.

All of Kerbsite were offered jobs with Sita, up to those if they chose not to take it!
