Many thanks for the pictures on your front page to illustrate the story "My fight with pub axeman" (Courier, October 3).

I know that you take your responsibility to inform and educate seriously. I was thus very grateful for the one on the left for those of us who were unaware what an axe looked like.

OMG! we pay this councillor out of our council tax, and all he can do is write pointless letters like this to the courier. i sincerely hope that the letter was e-mailed, because if it was posted to the courier i, as a tax payer, would request my share of the cost of the stamp back.

Bit late but well said Halifax-Dave. I can see the people who like both the lab and con party's think 'hmm glad he's not in our party'.
