RECENTLY Gordon Brown, as stubborn as ever, refused to budge on 42 days' detention for terror suspects, even if it means a Commons defeat.
Cynically, he hopes to paint the opposition parties as soft on terrorism. If the Prime Minister was serious about tackling terror, his party had 11 years to secure our borders, repeal the wicked Human Rights Act and deport all the known terrorists and preachers of hate living here at the expense of the British taxpayers.
Why must we have to endure all the worry and pay for those responsible for causing it?
