HALIFAX indie band Northern Glory are to share the stage at a top Leeds club next month with a Manchester music icon.
Teenagers Chris Howell, Nat Lodge, Adam Russ and Dave Tracey will be playing at the HiFi Club, Central Road, on Tuesday, July 1, when Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, guitarist and founder member of Oasis, will have a DJ set. The band has already supported Happy Mondays bass player Paul Ryder and cult punk outfit Sham 69.
Lead vocalist Chris said a coach was being organised to the gig (£12, including travel and club admission) - contact him on 07866 980427 to book.
Closer to home, Northern Glory will be playing at charity gigs at Triangle Cricket Club (Saturday night, July 5) and Illingworth Sports and Social Club, Halifax, the following afternoon.
