TWO new exhibitions in Calderdale feature the work of three artists and a photographer.
Collette Parker was born in Harrogate and moved to Halifax when she got married 11 years ago.
Her work, including pictures of musicians, flowers, children and animals, is now on display until September 28 at Platform One Art Gallery, Todmorden Railway Station, Rise Lane, Todmorden.
She said: "Having no job satisfaction had left a void in my life until I had my children which inspired me into the medium of photography."
Original art by Jo Brown, Sue Turner and Chris Bland is on display at ArtsMill, Linden Mill, Linden Road, Hebden Bridge (11am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday, until September 21). Admission is free.
Heart Gallery, Market Street, Hebden Bridge, is staging an exhibition until Sunday, September 28, in which all works on display are in black and white only.
The gallery, owned by Alison Bartram, features work by dozens of emerging and established designers and makers and sells contemporary jewellery, ceramics, glass, textiles, wood, furniture, accessories and stationery.
