Boothtown Terriers 18 - Greetland AR 46
(Division Two)

Greetland produced a strong second half showing to run away with Saturday's derby match against under-strength foes.
In an error strewn first 20 minutes, both sides were guilty of wasting possession and Boothtown's only bit of good play was a drive from Simon Jevons taken on by Jamie Love who gave a lovely slipped pass to Craig Stewart, but the defence stopped that attack.

After 25 minutes Daz Dewhirst weaved his way through the defence to open the scoring and Paul Rawson converted for a 6-0 lead.

Greetland fought back with tries from Rick Haw and Sam Hinsley plus a Gaz Clay conversion to lead 10-6.

On the stroke of half time Ben Mallas slipped a pass in the tackle and Simon Farrar sent Dave Love steaming in, Paul Rawson's conversion giving Terriers a two point interval lead.

However, Boothtown ran out of steam and Greetland ran away with it and scored tries through Ben Jarvis, Wayne Gibson, Andy Wickins, Craig Moore and three from Gaz Clay.

Boothtown, whose only reply was a Simon Farrar try from close in, were suffering a second big defeat on the trot.
