CONDITIONS may have been blustery but there was a fine standard of play when Outlane GC hosted the Halifax and Huddersfield Rabbit Golf Association's Norgate Trophy on Sunday.
Taking the trophy in the individual trophy Peter Horrocks of Crow Nest Park whose 36 Stableford points was a superb effort given the weather which saw gusts of up to 60 miles per hour.
Willow Valley, led by Harry Westworth, with an individual score of 33 points, won the team trophy on a countback from Outlane with Crow Nest Park in third place.
Speaking at the prize presentation, HHDRGA vice president Malcolm Turner thanked all the competitors for taking part and congratulated the winners, and also thanked the host club for their hospitality and the condition of the course which was excellent.
