JANET Widdop had plenty reason to celebrate during the West End Open Week Ladies fourball betterball.
She did not make it into the prizes but was celebrating after achieving a hole in one at the fourth hole.

But that was not enough for her team to overhaul the winners who were home pairing Lyn Jamieson and Margaret Calvert.

Results: 1 Lyn Jamieson and Margaret Calvert (West End) 66; 2 Lady Captain Jayne Airey and Rita Hughes (West End) 67; 3 Kath Noble (West End) and Michelle White (Bradley Hall) 69, third on a countback; 4 Pat Coukham (Lady Captain, Hebden Bridge) and Pauline Ward (West End) 69.
